When this haunt is triggered, the image of a phantom monk with dozens of leech-cups applied to his torso appears on a bloodstained gurney. The monk then explodes in a torrent of bloody ichor and thousands of writhing leeches, which cover those present and drain their blood. All creatures in the room are targeted by a symbol of weakness (save DC 20), followed by mass inflict serious wounds (save DC 20).

The host of so much pain and suffering, the gurney itself must be burned to destroy the haunt.
