This page contains community created .user files for use with the Hero Lab character creation software. All of these .user files are created and maintained by individual's of the Hero Lab community and are presented as is. The employee's of Lone Wolf Development have no control or involvement with these files.
If you have any questions or issues you should be able to contact the author through the Hero Lab forums either by a PM or by posting. While the employee's of Lone Wolf Development have no control over these files they are a helpful bunch and maybe willing to answer specific questions or problems that arise.
d20pfsrd Powered by Hero Lab Data sets
I have integrated several community data sets into the "Powered by Hero
Lab" update feature. This will allow the process of updating to work
almost exactly the same as how you currently get official updates from
Hero Lab. This feature is called Updates and is VERY easy to
setup. After setup you can simply download and import future
enhancements to the data sets automatically and you will be notified on
Hero Lab start up when an update is available.
Community Bestiary - This package contains the Adventure Path monsters and hundreds of 3PP
monster books. This is the package you need/want if your the GM.
Community Player Pack - This package contains 3PP AP and Paizo Module items that players care
about. It contains no monsters or GM specific stuff. This is the package
you want if your playing in a campaign.
Super Genius Games - This package contains many SGG classes, archetypes, magic items, and more from SGG pdfs sold on Paizo's website.
How to install a .user file
Download the .user file from the list below.
Place the .user file into the following directory:
Windows 7 - C:\ProgramData\Hero Lab\data\pathfinder
Windows XP/Vista - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Hero Lab\data\pathfinder
Note:You can always find the "data" folder containing the user files by going to the Tools menu within Hero Lab and choosing Explore Folders->Program Data Folder.
Start Hero Lab and select the Pathfinder RPG game.
Depending on the author they may have all the new material setup on a specific Source setting that you will have to set in the Configure Your Hero window. You can access by going to Character->Configure Your Hero...
How to install a .hl file
Download the .hl file from the list below.
Without HL running double click on the .hl file to start the import process.
This import process will correctly place .user files and .por files into the correct locations.
After the install you will find any .por files located in your "\portfolios\pathfinder\" folder followed by the name of the game module or Adventure Path.
